Not waterproof!,
I bought this watch May 26,2011 for my son. In July we filled our pool, and durign the first week of swimming, the watch showed water vapor under the glass. Within a few days, it stopped running. It is supposed to be waterproof to 165 feet. Our pool is a simple 4 foot deep above ground pool–no where near the 165 limit. The company said send it in to be repaired. That means I pay shipping both ways ($9.95)for a “free repair.” For a $55 watch I lose the use of it for weeks and pay $20 to get it repaired. I like the style of the Armitron watches, but they are more trouble than they are worth.

Nice watch!,
Similar in look to the Rolex Blue Mariner, which goes for $30,000. Very heavy, nice looking watch. I gave this as a Christmas gift to someone who loved the Rolex one, and he was very pleased with this watch.
