Save A Whole Lot, With Wholesale Clothing

Wholesale Clothing

Not everyone can afford brand name clothing, yet everyone wants to look good in what they wear, however it reflects their personality. Thankfully, if you are not one for designer clothes, there are wholesale clothing outlets that allow a consumer to buy clothes that look and feel good, but at cheap prices.

Cheap or Expensive?

There will be individuals out there who will tell you that they will wear nothing that is not designer-labeled. They will refuse to even consider buying wholesale and putting anything but on the latest fashion on their body is blasphemy. Of course, those people will usually have plenty of money to afford those fashions. For the rest of us, staying on budget is more important than wearing whatever the big celebrities at that moment are putting on.

Buying cheap does not have to be a bad word, it can be something beneficial that will save you money so that, every so often, you will be able to buy a special designer outfit that you want. With wholesale clothing, you can save money on what you buy, yet get something that looks good.

Is it Bad?

It has a stigma that only soiled and dirty clothes are sold second-hand, and that they all sit in a big bin that people rummage through. However, wholesale clothing can be very nice and in no way is it soiled or dirty. In fact, some of the clothes that are sold wholesale are actually nicer than the clothes people spend oodles of money for.

For example, many consumers buy retro T-shirts that are marked in price, while wholesale shoppers can find the retro T-shirts that were made when the fashion was not retro, for a fraction of the price.

Conclusion

Wholesale clothing has helped a great deal of people stay on budget, while wearing clothes that look good and feel good. There is no reason that someone should have to make clothes out of curtains anymore when wholesale clothing exists. By shopping in the wholesale warehouses, and individual can find a fashion that fits them perfectly, both in personality and size, while spending much less than what they would at a designer store. In fact, they could probably buy 20 excellent shirts at a wholesale distributor for the price of one at a designer store.

It is not a bad thing, it is something that will help everyone stay on budget while looking good. Don’t spend too much on clothing, there are much more important things to buy.

Making New Jewelry Out of Vintage Jewelry Components

December 01, 2011  //  Posted by: Pierce  //  Category: Clothing

With the economy still sluggish, and the emphasis on recycling and living green, a new style is emerging in the jewelry industry that is both extremely interesting, and eco-friendly. Jewelry that is made from authentic vintage components is becoming more and more popular.

There are several advantages to buying jewelry made from vintage jewelry components. The most obvious advantage is the style. Vintage is funky and fun, made from materials and styles that are no longer available. Vintage is one of a kind; no one else will have the exact same jewelry you have, especially if you made it yourself. And vintage style is in right now, so you will be cool, artistic, and in style all at the same time.

But besides the style advantage, vintage is eco-friendly. By using vintage materials to make your jewelry, you are recycling at its best. Reusing vintage parts, keeps the vintage jewelry out of the landfills, where it would sit for a very long time. So you can feel good about saving the earth by wearing and recycling vintage jewelry.

Another advantage is that many vintage jewelry items are cheap, especially compared to new jewelry. Metals used to make jewelry are at an all time high price, and that means that jewelers have to charge more for their work. By shopping carefully for vintage jewelry, you can find some excellent bargains, and create something new from something old.

The best thing about wearing jewelry made from vintage parts is the wonderful history that comes with the age of the vintage jewelry. Vintage means history, and it is fascinating to consider what journey the jewelry has had to bring it to you today. Where did the jewelry originally get made? Who bought it originally? What happened to them during their lifetime? These are the types of questions vintage items can make us think about.

Because most jewelry is made of metal or stone, vintage jewelry is usually in excellent condition even if it is antique and over 100 years old. You may find some wear and tear on gold and silver items that are worn for many years on a daily basis, but metal jewelry is made to hold up well over time, and therefore, chances are that you will find that the antique jewelry you are buying is in as good of condition as it was new.

You will most likely have to clean your new vintage jewelry. Check carefully what materials the jewelry is made of. If your jewelry is made of metal–silver, gold, copper–you should be able to use regular jewelry cleaner that you use on your regular jewelry. Precious stones can be cleaned with mild soap and water and a soft rag. Do not use anything with bristles to clean jewelry. You will find that bristles can damage or scratch both precious metal and some precious and semi-precious stones. If you take good care of your vintage finds, or your remade jewelry, you will be able to keep it for a lifetime and pass it on to someone that you love.

I am a jewelry artist, and I love to combine different textures, and styles into one piece of jewelry. I also love to collect vintage jewelry, and components. For more information on how to find vintage jewelry and lockets, click here.

Revitalize Your Clothes With a Clothes Dyeing Service

December 01, 2011  //  Posted by:  //  Category: Clothing

Take a long look in your closet. Do you see clothes that you loved to wear but they’re so faded that you can’t wear them anymore? How about a favorite dress that you thought was ruined by an unfortunate incident with sauce or wine? There are alternatives to just throwing them out or donating them. You can revive your wardrobe and give your old clothes new life by choosing the smart and cost effective option of clothes dyeing.

I’m not referring to the cheap dyes available at craft or big-box discount stores. No doubt there are inexpensive dyes you can purchase, but ultimately they are a waste of money as you’ll certainly be disappointed with the uneven results. Dyeing clothing can involve a multi-step process that takes into account the type of fabric and color of the original garment and using a professional service to dye your old clothes will produce the best results.

A professional clothes dyeing service will take the time to evaluate the fabric, material and original color of your favorite clothes and will dye them to restore them to their original color or even update the look by completely changing the color to a new, more updated hue.

Nearly any type of clothing lends itself to being dyed. Gather up the skirts, dresses, sweaters, pants, blouses, and sweatshirts taking up space and not being worn. Decide what color you desire and send them off to be dyed! Clothes dyeing companies can match the original color or a swatch you provide. They can also dye your clothes in any one of their standard colors. The result is an exciting new wardrobe at a fraction of the cost involved in completely replacing it.

With the challenging economic times we currently face, many Americans are seeking for ways to save money. Dyeing your clothes is an economical yet stylish choice. It’s thrilling to think that you can treat yourself to nearly new clothes simply by taking advantage of the money-saving option of dying your old clothes. By consulting a clothes dyeing service whose area of expertise is the restoration of your faded, worn, and stained clothes, you can really save yourself not only the expense of replacing your favorite dress, skirt, or slacks, but the time involved in shopping for them as well. The result is a boost to your wardrobe that can carry over to other areas of your lifestyle.
